If Brian Baumgartner Processes at least 25 receipts in 8 Hours, then the market resolves to Yes.
On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, actor Brian Baumgartner — best known for playing an accountant on TV — will take on a very different accounting challenge. Live from a glass box in Flatiron Plaza (and streaming online), Brian will attempt to process receipts the old-fashioned way as Ramp prints them out, one after another, for eight hours straight. Why? Because the manual way of accounting is broken. Ramp’s AI has solved the problem of manual expense reporting so finance teams can focus on strategy and growth. By the end of the challenge, Brian will have faced the same mountain Ramp’s AI conquers every single day — 600,000 receipts. This market reflects whether Brian Baumgartner can process receipts at a comparable pace within an 8-hour period. The event is expected to take place on October 14, 2025, from 10 AM – 6 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, “8 hours” is defined as a continuous time window beginning at the official start of the challenge and ending exactly 7 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds later. The market encompasses the entire 8-hour duration. If a surprise guest appears and helps process receipts while Brian steps out of the box, the receipts they process will still count toward the total. This market will encompass the number of receipts illustrated next to Brian’s name on the Source Agency’s official display at the conclusion of the 8-hour window.
Opened: Oct 3, 2025, 10:00 AM

If this event occurs, the market will close the following 10am ET. Otherwise, it closes by Oct 15, 2025, 11:59 PM.
